Project 365 Day 95: Last Night @ CIL

It’s my last night here at the Computers In Libraries 2014, in Washington D.C.

It has been quite a journey. The fact that my little county sent my colleagues and I, is simply spectacular. I have seen many things at this program and absorbed so much information.

I have seen other amazing libraries and networked with my peers.

There is something special about this convention. Everyone wants everyone else to succeed.  There is no competition. Only collaboration. We are one big team.

While I can’t remember everyone I met the past two days, I want to send a special thank you to a few people and organizations.  These people are true leaders in our environment.

Jill Hurst-Wahl (@jill_hw): for showing me the most enjoyable ways to collaborate.

Brian Pichman (@bpichman): for sharing his wonderful toys.

Nate Stone: for the best break I had this week.

David Lisa (@davelisa): for the amazing suggestion for next year.

Kara & Laura for being great colleagues and explorers in DC.

All the presenters who put in all the hard work.

Looking forward to the final day tomorrow. Then back home.
